Adult film star Mick Blue has spoken out about his role on Netflix's hit series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
The 48-year-old porn star and director landed a role as an extra in the popular show within 'three hours' of his audition and was stunned to see how 'quickly' the 'incredible' series came together.
Co-created by Ryan Murphy, the first season of Monsters was about prolific cannibal serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who was played by Evan Peters.
Mick also revealed what the cast really thinks about the intense controversy that has surrounded the series and sparked a social media frenzy as viewers slammed the makers for earning money off the grief of the victims' loved ones.
For season two, the anthology turned its attention to another infamous true crime story: Lyle and Erik Menendez, who murdered their parents in 1989.
And, despite the show giving viewers the creeps, Mick revealed that being on set of the series, which hit the streaming platform on September 19, was 'amazing' and gushed about Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez - who played Lyle and Erik.

Mick can be seen standing out from the crowd in the third episode of the series when Lyle gets his toupee pulled off while in the prison shower.
'I was lucky to be in a featured part where the audience can clearly see me. Often in background roles, you're not as visible, but this time, it all came together so quickly. You have to start with those little moments to get to the big ones,' he told DailyMail.com.
When the porn star first stepped on set, he was shocked by how welcoming everyone was, despite the terrifying nature of the show.
He told DailyMail.com: 'Even though the story is very chilling, on set the atmosphere was wonderful and great.'
The porn star noted that he had a blast creating the show and wasn't put off by the gruesome tale.
He added: 'The experience was amazing. Everybody on set, from crew to cast, were super nice and determined to create the best possible show.

Mick admitted that crew told him he needed to get 'tatted' and he spent the next two hours getting paint on his body (seen across from Lyle)
'As a perfectly functioning team, and if you watch the show, you can see it. The cinematography and the acting, specially from Cooper and Nicholas, is just phenomenal.'
To fit the part, he had to ditch his nice guy persona and get his glam on for a whopping two hours.
Mick explained that the crew told him he needed to get 'tatted' before undergoing extensive body paint.
He added: 'It was my first time spending two-and-a-half hours in makeup to get sticker tattoos. 'They told me, "You look too nice — let's get you tatted!" It was a really great experience.' Although he didn't get to spend much time around Nicholas and Cooper, he revealed some key aspects of their personalities to DailyMail.com.
'My direct work with them was too short to form a friendship, but I had quite some time to chat with Cooper and have to say he is a real cool guy and super nice.
Nicholas was more the quiet type who kept to himself,' Mick told DailyMail.com.
Despite soaring to Netflix's top 10, the hit series has sparked furious controversy about its sexual nature and its exaggerated moments.
Mick spoke out against the backlash that she show has received, letting it be known that the cast hadn't let it get to them.
He told DailyMail.com: 'I think when you create a TV show like this one, you will always have people speak poorly about it. In this world, you can't make it right for everybody. Personally, I am a huge fan of Ryan Murphy's work and also what he created with this show.
'The sexuality in this show is a question of taste from the viewers. I think it's the point of view of the people involved and of the research he has done that truly
matters. Showing it on a platform like this one fits into the time we live in right now.
'What in the end is the real true story, only Erik and Lyle Menendez know. I believe that something really bad must have happened that they actually decided to kill their parents.'

Nicholas and Cooper play Lyle and Erik, the wealthy brothers at the center of the story respectively.
